Video review of ASI 3801 Straight Grab Bar

This video is to bring you a closer look at the ASI 3801 Straight Grab Bar. This is a 3ft version. The 3801 series features a concealed snap flange. Holes for two #10 or 12 screws. There is a link below this video to the cut sheet showing you everything important about this item. The 3801 is an 1-1/2" diameter, which is the thickest of grab bars that you'll find. People that are disabled who use this say that it hurts their hands less when they push up with larger diameter grab bar. An 1-1/2" is the most common size that you will see in commercial applications. 3-1/8" diameter flange, 1/8" thick. This flange covers 3-3/16". Made of all stainless steel (brushed finish). In the cut sheet there is a reference to strength rating for the grab bars. There is also a reference to where to install these off a finished floor per ADA guidelines (between 33-36"). Available in multiple finishes. This item is also available with a peened grip.
