This video is to bring you a closer look at the Pemko 212D Dark Bronze Anodized Aluminum Residential Saddle Threshold. This is specifically intended for use with a door bottom or a door sweep. You have a slope and some ridges (anti-slip) on the front of the threshold. Screws are included (10 x 1-1/4" complimentary finish wood screw). These are used in residential applications. The 212 is representative of the profile of this threshold. There is an image below this video showing everything important dimensionally about the item. 3-1/2" is the width, 5/8" overall height. You'll want to confirm your undercut before ordering your threshold, if you have an undercut greater than 11/16" you'll be in good shape, but you might have to mate it up with some sort of door bottom. The one dimension that is not given is where the door sits, and that is an 1-1/4". You could certainly use the 1-1/4" (crest of the threshold) for 1-3/8" wood doors, along with 1-3/4" doors. Pemko has this available in several different finishes. Available in several different lengths as well. If you have a need for a custom length by all means let us know by ordering the next longest piece or pieces and indicating in the comment field what size you'd like for us to cut the item back to. The reason for this is if you had to cut this 48" piece down to 40", you'd eliminate that counter-sink and you'd be forced to drill another one.
