This video is to bring you a closer look at the Cal-Royal CDTS80 Thimble Strike.
It's called Thimble strike because it looks like a giant thimble that you'll use in sewing
This is a circular strike that you'll use for dead bolts.
Very common item.

You are going to drill a 1" hole, you've got a woof frame, insert the screw to the hole.
That is an important aspect to this strike, people just drill 1" hole in a steel frame, you'll see that are some raised area here and below that allow an compression fit but over time that strike work it self loosens the steel frame.
The instructions says that will work like that.
Used commonly when you want to add a dean bolt to an existing door frame and you don't have the ability to cut in the steel frame the rectangular face plate for a dead bolt strike.
