Q: How to wire the power to a Knox Switch with 12 V/DC and Fail Safe? Is there are a switch on the strike?

A: Please provide me with a part number of your Knox Switch. I will review that items installation instructions and advise. Could you assume it is a simple key switch and if you want the electric strike to operate as fail-safe that means the switch will have to be normally closed and that operating the key switch will open the circuit allowing the strike to become d energized and therefore unlocked.
