Questions and Answers
Q: hello; What is the difference between semi-automatic and automatic flush bolts
A: When you have one flush bolt that is manual and the other is automatic the term semi-automatic is applied to the set - meaning you can leave the manual one in the locked position at all times keeping the inactive door secure.

If you want the inactive door to operate as unlatched when the active door is in the openn position, as a fully automatic, you then unlatch the manual version and when the door is opened or closed is how you will control whether or not the inactive door is latched or unlatched.
