A85PD PLY 626 Grade 2 Hotel Lockset with Plymouth Knob - Satin Chrome
Hotel Function:
Outside knob fixed. Entrance by key only. Push-button in inside knob activates visual occupancy indicator, allowing only emergency master key to operate. Turning inside knob or closing door releases visual occupancy indicator. Rotation of inside spanner-button provides lock-out feature by keeping indicator activated.
Cylindrical lock housing; cold-rolled steel, corrosion treated for normal atmospheric conditions.
Key-removable outside knobs for easy cylinder replacement.
Solid brass 6-pin cylinders.
No exposed mounting screws.
Meets or exceeds 400,000-cycle ANSI Grade 2 requirements.
UL/cUL Listed up to 3 hours.

Questions and Answers
Q: What does the hotel indicator look like for the A, AL, D, and ND?
A:
The indicator on a cylindrical hotel lock is a small pin that projects outward from the face of the cylinder plug (Figure 1) when the inside push button is depressed. When this pin is projected an obstruction pin falls into the keyway prohibiting all keys from being inserted except the emergency key. The emergency key is cut thin to bypass the obstruction pin.
