Q: I work for a college and we are having a problem with 4 door openers model 710. None of them will open when the button is pushed, we have power to them, because the door will open when switched to hold open, but closes when swiched back to auto.
A: Are all four units exhibiting the same behavior at one time?
Q: Yes they all seem to have gone out at the same time. I am in St. Petersburg FL area and we do have power surges at times, not sure if it was just after one or not. We got the report of the problem and checked into it as soon as we could.
A: I have two options to help mitigate the problem for you.
We can do a repair on your units were you would remove them from the operators and send them to our repair facility.
Alternatively we have an exchange program where you would purchase the rebuild operators, we would ship those to you, you would complete the inspection and then once done ship us back the original malfunctioning units.
