A: sure it can be used for this application but would also state this is not the best option for this application. The sweep would need to be installed on the pull side of the door and that neoprene will prove far too rigid. This type of sweep is best used for commercial exterior outswing doors.

I think a far better option would be an automatic door bottom such as this standard duty model:
