A: The Glynn-Johnson Co. 414S-US10B Concealed Overhead Stop 39In Us10B is a 410S Series stop-only and is described by the manufacturer as

"(Suffix S) When the hold-open function is not a requirement,the stop-only function provides an effective method of door control. The stop-only model may be used on fire doors."

You might be referring to the 410F Series friction hold-open and is described by the manufacturer as

"(Suffix F) Friction hold-open models are ideal for patient room doors, wardrobe and closet doors, or similar applications where multiple hold-open positions are desired. The friction tension can be adjusted using an allen wrench on the slider located in the channel mounted at the top of the door."

The adjustment to control the friction setting is accomplished using a 3/32" allen wrench, turn screw shown clockwise to increase friction tension and turn counterclockwise to decrease the friction tension. This can be reviewed on the bottom left side of page 1 of the installation instructions as seen here:

A: Has the manufacturer of the adjustable frame giving you the approval if they can prep their frame for that hardware? having an understanding of not only the adjustable frame but the hardware as well I would think that it would not be possible to prep an adjustable frame for a concealed overhead control.
