Q: Hi, Is there a push to open latch hardware you'd recommend for a 3-0 x 7-0 solid core door. The door is going to be for a hidden bathroom so you would also need to be able to exit from the inside and latch for privacy. Thank you, Daniel
A: will there be a handle on the push side?
Q: Thank you for the quick reply! There could be a handle on the inside (bathroom side). If you were inside the bathroom the door would open out. The door will have soss hinges. The client wants the outside of the door (hallway side) to be paneled to blend into the wall with no hardware.
A: I would suggest that you consider a roller latch to keep the door in the closed position, then a mortise bolt for the providing of privacy on the interior along with a flush pull on the interior to allow you to pull and push the door
Q: That’s a good idea. So I should stay away from the Ives CL12 type latch?
A: What is the size and weight of the door?
Q: It’s a 2-0 x 7-0 door 24 lbs.
A: The CL12 as seen here:

is a great idea.
Thank you for your response and feedback on this job and I stand ready to assist on this or future potential projects.
Q: What if I need glass installed or at least cut out?

Q: Is the 3070 suitable to use for a pocket door? Top roller mounts only?
A: Yes indeed the 3'0 x 7'0 Architectural Solid Core Birch Wood Door RNB-SC3070 is suitable for a pocket door but they're going to want to be sure to specify the door as square edges so that they do not have a bevel on them and you walk to certainly define your net size requirements as well at the time of order - this may or may not affect the price depending on the special prefix eyes that you have.
