#BB81 Ball Bearing Standard Weight Hinge.
These hinges are five knuckle two ball bearing.
Application:
For use on Medium Weight Doors or Doors Requiring Medium Frequency Service.
Thickness:
All 5" high hinges are .146 thick.
All 4 1/2" high hinges are .134 thick.
All 4" high hinges are .130 thick.
All 3 1/2" high hinges are .123 thick.
Corners:
All corners are square unless selected above. 1/4" radius is not available on all standard full mortise hinges - please call to confirm.
Packaging:
These hinges are packaged 3 per box.
Please keep in mind to order the correct quantity of hinges required as they are sold each (the price above is for one, not a box of three).
Fasteners:
These hinges include all machine and all wood screws.
For 5" and 4 1/2" high hinges, the wood screws are #12 x 1 1/4" flat head and the metal screws are 1/2" x 12/24.
For 4" high hinges, the wood screws are #12 x 1" and the metal screws are 1/2" x 12/24.
For 3 1/2" high hinges, the wood screws are #9 x 1" and the metal screws are 1/2" x 10/24.
Security Pin:
All the above hinges are available with Non-Removable Pins (N.R.P.) for outswinging doors. Please selct this feature above.
Security stud is available on all standard full mortise hinges. This option features a stud attached to one leaf which projects into a hole in the opposite leaf when the hinge is in the closed position.
Tips:
All these hinges have flat button tip. Ball Tips, Steeple Tips and Urn Tips (shown below) are available for most hinges.These tips ship loose are are field installed. You can select this feature above.
Materials and Finishes:
Wrought Steel: Satin finishes or highly polished and plated. All plated finishes have a clear baked finish.
Wrought Stainless Steel: Satin finish non-ferrous, non-corrosive grade 304.
Notes:
Please keep in mind fire door installations require ball bearing.
Also keep in mind that hinges are measured hieght first and width second and is determined by the hinge when open (Therefore a 4 1/2" x 4" hinge measures 4 1/2" high x 4" wide).

Special Options:
* Swagging: Special swagging is available on template hinges. This is priced upon application.
* Hospital Tips: Hospital tips, which feature a slope cut at the knuckle ends to prevent the hanging or mounting of objects on them. Requires a lead time for manufacturing.
* Brass or stainless steel pins are available for added corrosion resistance when not furnished standard.
* No holes, for weld on applications, are available.
